Rainbow once worked as a cleaner at a teahouse. The first time she received an invitation card from Pearl Home, she didn't come right away — "I took the invitation card, but it was five months before I walked through the door."
That first step through the door wasn't easy, but once she came, she stayed. Now she works at the church's café, and after work she sews bags and totes to help support her family. Her craftsmanship is meticulous, and the fabric bags she makes have become one of the most popular items among Pearl Grandma's handmade goods.
In 2016, Rainbow was baptized, stepping into a whole new life.
