Pearl Stories・Cross-Stitch Cards
June
“If it weren't for the handicraft class, being alone at home for so long would give me depression!”

June is in her seventies, living alone in Wanhua. Life wasn't easy when she was young; now her children have all started their own families, leaving her alone at home.
"If it weren't for the handicraft class, being alone at home for so long would give me depression!" she says with a smile. Coming to the handicraft class at Pearl Home each week has become her most important anchor. Stitch by stitch, her cross-stitch work embroiders not just cards, but a light rekindled in her heart.
In 2016, June was baptized at Pearl Home. She says this place feels like her other home.
