Those Who Have the Least Are Often the Most Generous

A-Yu is a homeless woman who has been working for the past few months.

Yesterday her boss gave her a red envelope with NT$500 in it. She spent NT$300 of it on fresh milk, strawberries, and donuts to share with the women at Pearl Home. A-Chu saw this and, in turn, took out NT$200 to give as an offering to Pearl Home. Teacher's wife used the money to buy ingredients and cooked red bean soup with rice balls for the handicraft class.

We have just begun a new sermon series on the Beatitudes. May the women humbly receive Jesus's teaching.
